The Kydex Customs SIG 226 Magazine Carrier is designed to work with all SIG 226 magazines, providing secure retention and reliable access in military, tactical, training and airsoft environments. Its straightforward, robust design supports fast reloads while maintaining control during dynamic movement.
Each carrier incorporates an integrated MRD (Magazine Retention Device), which applies adjustable forward pressure to the magazine body. This system allows the carrier to retain the magazine with the desired level of resistance, balancing security with draw speed depending on operational or training requirements.
Retention is adjusted using the silver grub screw located on the side of the carrier. Tightening or loosening this screw with a 1/8” Allen (hex) key increases or reduces retention to suit individual preference or loadout configuration.
For correct function and consistent performance, the magazine must be inserted into the carrier in one specific orientation. This ensures reliable retention and predictable magazine presentation during reloads.
