Jack Pyke Roe Sack 40L

The Jack Pyke Canvas Roe Sack is a traditional field carry sack for deer stalking. The body is heavy cotton canvas, which is quiet against cover in a way a synthetic pack is not, and the straps and binding are leather rather than a substitute. Jack Pyke size the main compartment for one average roe deer, and line it with a removable wipe-clean lining so the inside can be dealt with afterwards rather than lived with.

The top closes on a drawcord and is then covered by a fold-over flap on a leather buckle strap. A large oval leather patch on the flap is embossed Jack Pyke of England, and there is a leather grab handle at the top for lifting it off the ground. Two large front pockets, each under its own buckled leather flap, take callers, a knife and the rest of the small kit. The shoulder straps are padded and their buckles have removable covers so the hardware does not press into your back on a long carry out. Approximately 40 to 50 litres and around a kilo empty, in Green or Fawn.
