The Kydex Customs GSG .22LR 1911 Magazine Carrier is a purpose-built magazine pouch designed to securely retain GSG .22LR 1911 magazines. Developed for airsoft, tactical training and rimfire practice environments, it delivers reliable retention and a consistent draw in a compact, durable format.
Each carrier utilises Kydex Customs’ MRD (Magazine Retention Device), which applies adjustable pressure to the front of the magazine. This allows the user to fine-tune the level of resistance, ensuring the magazine remains secure during movement while still allowing fast, controlled access when required.
Retention is adjusted via the silver grub screw located on the side of the carrier. By tightening or loosening this screw with a 1/8” Allen key / hex key, the grip on the magazine can be increased or reduced to suit individual preference. Once set, retention remains consistent during use.
For correct function and retention, magazines must be inserted into the carrier in one fixed orientation only. This ensures reliable engagement with the retention system and repeatable magazine indexing during reloads.
