Pentagon Consul 27L Backpack

The Pentagon Consul 27L is the tactical daysack that does not look like one. The shell is 500D Cordura® with ballistic nylon reinforcement at the panels that take the abuse, but the silhouette is squared-off and clean, the branding is a single small badge, and PU leather trim runs the zip lines. It reads as a work bag on a train and behaves like a tactical pack everywhere else.

Three compartments do the organising. The tech compartment runs on waterproof YKK® zips and holds a padded, foam-lined sleeve that takes a laptop up to 16 inches, with a retaining strap across it. The admin compartment is the one that earns its keep day to day: elasticated pen and torch loops, stacked card slots, zipped mesh pockets and a retractable MOD key tether, so keys come to hand without being dug for. The main compartment carries the bulk. On the outside there is a quick-access front zip pocket, a hook-and-loop panel on the back for a pouch or sheath, and a luggage pass-through strap for sliding it over a suitcase handle.

Carrying it is handled by a spacer mesh foam back panel that channels air rather than sealing against your back, padded shoulder straps with slotted routing keepers, an adjustable sternum strap and waist support webbing to stop the load swinging.

Pentagon covers this product for 6 months from the date of purchase against proven manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If you think you have a warranty claim, contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will handle it for you rather than sending you to the manufacturer. Products may need to be returned for inspection, which can result in a short processing delay. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
