The Snugpak Hammock Cocoon WGTE solves one of the biggest problems in hammock camping: insulation crushing flat beneath you under the hammock's tension, leaving cold spots. Rather than relying on a sleeping bag alone, the Cocoon wraps the whole hammock in a generous layer of Travelsoft synthetic insulation, trapping warm air above and below to hold onto heat where a compressed bag loses it.

A Micro Diamond polyester shell handles repeated outdoor use, a Paratex antibacterial lining keeps odour down on longer trips, and adjustable elasticated guy lines tune the fit across most standard hammocks. A full-length side zip lets you get in and out without leaving the hammock, and a compression stuff sack keeps it packable. Snugpak rates the Travelsoft fill at a similar weight to its two-season sleeping bags; because hammock setups vary so much, no single comfort temperature is given, so build up to colder nights gradually as you learn your setup.
