The Snugpak Hammock Under Blanket WGTE tackles the core problem of hammock sleeping: insulation crushed flat beneath you loses its warmth exactly where your body meets the hammock. Fitted on the outside, underneath the hammock, the under blanket forms a separate insulated layer that blocks cold air and wind chill from below, holding onto heat that a sleeping bag alone cannot.

Filled with Snugpak's Travelsoft synthetic insulation, it stays warm and packable even in damp conditions. Elasticated adjustable guy ropes let you tension it correctly beneath most standard hammocks, the Paratex antibacterial lining keeps odour down on longer trips, and the Micro Diamond outer is built for regular field use. It packs to 23 x 23cm in the supplied compression sack and pairs with the Snugpak Hammock Quilt WGTE to form a complete two-piece insulation system. As with all hammock insulation, Snugpak does not give a fixed comfort temperature, so build up gradually as conditions and your setup allow.
