Snugpak Softie Antarctica WGTE Sleeping Bag

The Snugpak Softie Antarctica WGTE is the warmest bag Snugpak makes, a UK-made expedition sleeping bag rated to -20°C comfort and built for environments where the temperature can fall to -30°C. It is designed for the most demanding cold-weather work, from polar travel and high-altitude operations to extreme winter deployments.

Warmth and moisture management come from a combination of highly water-repellent Isodry fibres and Softie Premier insulation, layered with a metallised Reflectatherm lining that reflects body heat back towards the sleeper. An insulated shoulder baffle seals warmth around the upper body, and the quick-release two-way centre zip allows fast entry and exit without breaking the insulated baffle behind it. At 30 x 25cm packed and around 2.8kg, this is a large, heavy bag better suited to vehicle-supported expeditions and static basecamps than long carries on foot. It comes in Olive Green, Black and Multicam.
