A blow-and-lock valve lets the mat self-inflate as it unrolls; you then top up by mouth and lock off at your preferred firmness, from extra support to softer cushioning. The 25mm insulating foam core smooths uneven ground and insulates against cold surfaces, and the pillow is built into the head end to keep the kit count down on camping trips, cadet exercises and field use. It comes in Olive Green and includes a repair patch and stuff sack.
