Kelty Solstice 40 Sleeping Bag - Black Forest

The Kelty Solstice 40 is an oversized rectangular sleeping bag for campers who refuse to sleep like a sardine. At 203cm long and 102cm wide it is far roomier than a standard bag, genderless in its cut, and built for campsite comfort from late spring into early autumn, with a rating of 4C (40F) printed on the stuff sack.

Inside and out it uses a soft-touch recycled 50D polyester pongee, the shell finished with a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment, and the fill is Thermapro Eco, a compressible small-denier synthetic made from recycled fibres. A dual-layer offset quilt construction stops cold spots, a draft tube with anti-snag webbing runs along the zip, and an adjustable collar lets you seal in warmth on a cooler night.

The dual-slider locking zip opens from either end for venting, unzips fully so the bag can be used as a blanket, and pairs with a second Solstice to make a double. There is an internal pocket for a phone or head torch, and it packs into a stuff sack with a grab handle at 38 x 20 x 20cm. This is the Black Forest colourway: two-tone green with a mustard-yellow lining.
