The Jack Pyke Sherpa Fleece Jacket Gen2 is the deep pile one worn on the outside. 300g of sherpa across the body and sleeves, with the pile facing out rather than hidden behind a shell, which is why it looks like what it is: a warm jacket for cold, dry days rather than a mid-layer pretending to be one.

The front zip is a double, so it opens from the hem as well as the neck and stops riding up when you sit down or drive. Two zipped hand pockets, ribbed knitted cuffs, and smooth contrast panels across the shoulders and on both elbows, which is where a pile fleece flattens and wears first.
