The Oz OverBoots Harlequin Two Tone Cotton Sox Savers are the standard sox saver cut in two colours, split down the side in the harlequin style of a rugby shirt. They do the same job as the plain pair, closing the gap between sock and boot top so grass seeds, clippings, sawdust and soil stay out of your socks, but they are easier to spot on the boot rack and more fun to wear.
Each panel is 100% workwear-standard cotton drill, with an elasticated top that holds the sox saver snug round your ankle. There are no straps or buckles: slip them over your feet before your boots go on and let the skirt drop over the boot top. The photos show them over dealer boots in a tractor cab, which is exactly where they earn their keep at harvest.
Seven colour pairs are listed: Navy and Fuchsia, Black and Royal Blue, Navy and Emerald Green, Black and Red, Navy and Sky Blue, Yellow and Black, and Dark Green and Yellow. Oz OverBoots run the business from a working arable farm in North Bedfordshire. Cotton drill is for dry muck; for wet grass, choose oilskin.
