The Cradle is the rounded frame in the Gumbies sunglasses range, named after Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. It is the softer, more relaxed shape against the angular Wilpena. What makes the range unusual is the frame material: a wheat-derived bio-plastic rather than conventional petroleum acetate, flecked through with natural fibres so each frame has a slightly different finish. Copper-tinted lenses are polarised with full UV protection, and every pair ships with a hard case made from repurposed plastic plus a branded cloth bag.
