The Snugpak® Ionosphere IX™ WGTE is a compact and lightweight one-person tent designed for adventurers and specialists who prioritize minimalism without compromising on protection and comfort.
The tent features a two-pole, easy-to-pitch design, forming a hooped shelter that minimizes condensation build-up. The inner tent is constructed with a No-See-Um Mesh Mosquito Net, effectively keeping out bugs, snakes, and other unwanted critters. Additionally, it can be used without the fly as a standalone mosquito shelter/barrier during warmer months and climates.
Constructed with a 5000mm hydrostatic head (HH) polyurethane (PU) coated flysheet with taped seams, the Ionosphere IX™ WGTE provides reliable shelter from inclement weather. It offers an ample floor space of 240cm/94” long and 90cm/35” wide, providing sufficient room for a single occupant with equipment or accommodating two people in emergencies.
Despite its robust features, the Ionosphere IX™ WGTE remains lightweight, with a trail weight of only 1200g / 42oz. The tent utilizes lightweight aluminium poles, ensuring it doesn't take up valuable space in your pack. This makes it ideal for situations where weight and pack size are critical.
