Jetboil 450g Jetpower Fuel Canister

Jetpower is Jetboil's own four-season fuel, a propane and isobutane blend formulated to keep pressure up as the can empties and as the temperature drops. Propane gives the higher vapour pressure that keeps a stove lit in the cold; isobutane holds pressure steady rather than tailing off to a weak flame once the canister is half used.

The 450g can is the largest in the range and the best value per gram of gas, holding roughly 48 litres of boiled water. It is aimed at basecamp, group cooking and larger burners like the Genesis rather than at anyone counting grams in a pack. Standard threaded self-sealing valve. Also available in 100g and 230g.
