Kelty Lowdown Single Camp Chair - Bungee Cord / Beluga

The Kelty Lowdown Chair sits lower to the ground than a standard camp chair, with the seat 30cm off the floor and a relaxed, slightly reclined back. You are down at campfire level rather than towering over it, and at a festival you are not blocking the view of anyone sat behind you. Kelty call it their ultimate camp chair, and the shape is the reason: it is built for settling in for the evening, not perching.

The seat and back are quilted 600D polyester, padded enough for a long night by the fire and tough enough for years of going in and out of the boot. It all sits on a powder-coated steel frame rated to 158kg, with adjustable arm rests and two insulated, size-adjustable drinks holders that take anything from a can to an extra large water bottle. When you pack up, the chair folds and rolls into its Carry-Wrap, which has a shoulder strap for the walk back to the car and opens out flat as a padded mat for the dog.

This is the Bungee Cord / Beluga colourway: a taupe seat and arms with a darker grey-brown quilted back panel and an orange Kelty logo, on a rust-orange frame. It is the single seat of Kelty's low range; the Low-Loveseat seats two at much the same height, and the Lowdown Couch seats three.
