Amazonas California Terracotta Hanging Chair

The California is the padded flagship of the Amazonas hanging chair range - extra large, softly lined and, unusually, fitted with an integrated footrest so you can stretch out fully without buying a separate accessory. Where the woven Brasil chairs cradle you in bare cotton, the California wraps you in thick polyester padding under a cotton cover. Terracotta is its warm colourway, reversible between terracotta and grey, alongside the neutral California Sand.

The 170 x 70 cm seat is held open by a 110 cm beech spreader bar with notched ends that fix the suspension cords in place, and numerous thick cords spread your weight for a near-weightless feel. Rated to 150 kg, it works as readily indoors as it does hung from a branch or an Amazonas chair stand.
