A genuine Skywoods 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion cell, rated at 3.7V, 2600mAh and 9.62 watt hours. It is the same cell supplied with the D6 and D6S, so it works as a straight replacement for a battery that has aged out, or as a second cell to carry charged.

Having a spare is the difference between a light that stops when the battery does and one that carries on. The cell recharges inside the light through its own port, or outside it in the C2 dual bay charger, which is the quicker option when you are cycling two cells through one torch.
