The Snugpak Special Forces 1 WGTE is a lightweight mummy sleeping bag rated to 5°C comfort, designed as part of Snugpak's modular Special Forces sleeping system and manufactured in the UK. A two-way centre zip enables rapid entry and exit - a deliberate operational design choice over the side zip found on most civilian sleeping bags. The reinforced foot section allows the bag to be used with boots on when conditions or circumstances require it. Softie® Premier insulation, Paratex Steelplate outer fabric and Reflectatherm lining combine to deliver dependable warmth in a highly compressible package. As a standalone bag it covers mild to above-freezing overnight conditions; as part of a modular sleeping system it can be combined with a compatible outer bag to handle significantly colder temperatures.
