Product Overview

The DD Campervan Tarp 2.5 x 2.5m is purpose-built for campervan and van-based travel, providing a lightweight and adaptable shelter system that integrates directly with standard awning rails. Manufactured from durable 190T polyester with a PU 3000mm waterproof coating, it delivers dependable protection from rain and sun while remaining compact enough for convenient storage inside your vehicle.

Designed and tested with campervan systems such as the VW California T6.1, the tarp is compatible with vehicles and awning systems using either 6mm or 8mm beading rails. Its versatile design allows it to function as an overhead awning for outdoor living space, a side wall extension for additional weather protection, or both simultaneously for increased shelter coverage.

Setup is designed to be quick and practical for travelling users. Two poles support the outer edge during overhead use, while integrated guy lines provide stability in changing conditions. An optional third centre pole can be added to improve headroom and assist water runoff during heavy rain.

When used as a side wall, the tarp attaches directly to the awning system and secures with integrated buckles and pegs, helping provide additional protection from wind, rain and low-angle sun. Its compact packed size makes it especially suitable for van life, touring and road-trip setups where storage space is limited.
