Zero Ice Reusable Cubes

Zero Ice Reusable Cubes are ice that comes back. Each cube is a sealed, BPA-free food-grade plastic shell filled with purified water, so it freezes solid like the real thing but never turns to water. Put the bag in the freezer the night before, tip it into the cool box in the morning, and the food comes home dry instead of floating in a puddle of meltwater.

There are 300 cubes to the bag, and Zero Ice reckon one bag does the job of a 5kg bag of shop ice. They quote up to 48 hours of cold in a closed cooler. Once you are home, give the cubes a rinse, let them dry and they go straight back in the freezer for the next trip, hundreds of times over.

The cubes come in a black mesh drawstring bag rather than a solid one, so cold air reaches them in the freezer and the bag dries out between uses instead of staying damp. The standard cubes sit in the middle of the range: pair them with the 5cm Large cubes as a base layer in a big cooler, or scatter Mini cubes into the gaps.
