AKU Pilgrim GTX Combat FG M Boots

The AKU Pilgrim GTX Combat FG M is a waterproof part leather combat boot built for patrol, field work and long days on foot in wet, muddy and changeable conditions. The upper pairs full-grain leather with AKU's AIR 8000® fabric, so it stands up to abrasion where it needs to and breathes everywhere else, and a GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining keeps water out while letting moisture escape.

Underfoot, a die-cut EVA midsole with integrated arch support cushions each step, and a medium-stiff nylon and EVA lasting board keeps the boot stable when you are moving quickly or carrying a heavy load. The Vibram® Fourà outsole is nitrile rubber with a deep, open tread for grip and braking on loose, muddy and mixed ground. A Bycast leather rand protects the high-wear areas, and closed-design lacing hooks give a secure fastening that will not snag on kit or vegetation.

Despite that robust build, each boot weighs around 600g, which makes it a light option for rucking and extended marches. Manufactured in Europe by AKU. Supplied in AKU's MOD Brown, sizes UK 8 to 12.

Technical Specifications

Warranty

AKU warrants the Pilgrim GTX Combat for 2 years from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects and non-compliance. Faulty boots are repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion, and if the original is no longer available a replacement may come in a different colour with the same or better specification. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk. Products may need to be returned for inspection, which can result in a short processing delay.

Care Instructions

• Brush off dust, mud and dirt with a soft brush once the boots are dry
• For stubborn dirt, use a cloth moistened with cold water
• Never use solvents, aggressive chemical products or brushes that are too hard
• Do not machine wash and do not use a pressure washer
• Air-dry naturally, away from direct heat
• Make sure the boots are dry before storing them, ideally somewhere breathable
