Energizer Hardcase Pivot Plus LED Torch 300 Lumens

The Energizer Hardcase Professional Pivot Plus is a 300 lumen work torch with a head that pivots through 175 degrees and a magnetic base. Stick it to a steel panel, vehicle body or toolbox, angle the head, and the light stays on the job while both hands are free. It runs on two AA batteries, and two Energizer Max AA alkalines come in the pack.

Energizer rate it to survive drops from 7 metres, roughly a two-storey building, and to IPX4 against splashing water, with a shatterproof body built for site and workshop use. The large push button works in gloves, and a lanyard slot is built into the body.

There are two modes. High gives 300 lumens and a 30 metre beam for up to 5 hours; Low gives 30 lumens for up to 30 hours on the same batteries. Press and hold the switch to dim the light gradually and set your own balance of brightness and runtime. Because it takes standard AA cells, spares are easy to find and there is no charger to carry.
