Folding Multi Shears

The Folding Multi Shears are a six-function rescue tool built around a pair of heavy-duty shears that fold down to a small, compact size. They are made from 420C stainless steel, which stays sharp and is tough enough to deal with whatever an incident throws at it. The shears cut through the toughest clothing materials, including motorbike leathers, and the blade carries a 5 cm ruler with millimetre markings for quick measurement.

Folding into the frame are a seatbelt cutter for slicing through car seatbelts and cords in an emergency, a ring cutter for stuck jewellery and soft metals, and an oxygen cylinder wrench for tightening or removing oxygen valves. A tungsten carbide glass and window breaker sits in the end of the handle, and a fold-away and lock-out button holds the shears closed or locked open. The handles are black. They are used and trusted by firefighters all over the UK.
