Amazonas Havanna Marine Hammock Chair

The Havanna Marine is the roomiest of the woven Amazonas hanging chairs. The 150 x 120 cm seat and 110 cm spreader bar hold the cloth wide open, so you sit across it rather than sinking into a narrow pocket, and at 150 kg it carries more than any other chair in the woven line-up. Marine is the deep blue colourway.

EllTex is the Amazonas outdoor cloth - Extra Long Lasting TEXtile, 55% recycled cotton blended with 45% polyester. It keeps the handle of cotton but adds real UV and water resistance, so it survives a season outside far better than pure cotton does. That is what separates the Havanna from the pure-cotton Panama - one can stay out through the season, the other really wants bringing in.

Like the rest of the woven chairs it needs about 195 cm of hanging height and wants to sit 40 to 50 cm off the ground. It works on the Atlas Hanging Chair Stand or the Luna Rockstone Hanging Chair Stand, or on a Smart Rope from a strong branch or beam.

At 2.3 kg it is light enough to unhook and carry off single-handed, and it packs into the carry bag supplied.
