This pack contains two Ledlenser HF4R CORE head torches in black, the slim 2023 edition of the HF4R. Each one gives up to 500 lumens from spot and flood white lights, with a red front light for night vision, and weighs only 72g, so a pair suits couples, families, or keeping one at home and one in the car.

The CORE has its battery built in and charges with Ledlenser’s Magnetic Charge System: a magnetic connector clips to the back of the head torch and a USB-C plug goes into any charger, with a full charge in 180 minutes. A battery status indicator shows the charge, and the lamp head tilts to aim the beam.

Boost gives 500 lumens and a 130 metre beam, Power runs at 300 lumens for 2 hours 30 minutes, and Low Power lasts up to 35 hours. Each head torch is rated IP68 against dust and water and drop tested to 2 metres. This is the 2023 CORE edition, which differs from the 2026 HF4R: it uses a built-in battery with magnetic charging rather than a removable battery pack with USB-C.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the HF4R CORE with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register each head torch online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, charging cables, surface coatings or embossing.
