The Maplin AA and AAA Alkaline Batteries pack holds 10 AA (LR6) and 10 AAA (LR03) 1.5V alkaline batteries, 20 in all, covering the two sizes most devices in a home run on. An even split of both sizes, which suits homes where AA and AAA devices run through batteries at about the same rate: remotes and controllers on one side, torches and toys on the other.

The AA cells are rated at 2900mAh and the AAA at 1300mAh. Maplin quote 20% more capacity than standard alkaline batteries, leak-proof construction and a 7 year shelf life, and design them for high-drain and digital devices as well as everyday use.

AA powers torches and lanterns, radios, game controllers, wireless mice and keyboards and most toys; AAA covers smaller remotes, clocks, thermometers and wireless earbuds. Both are ready to use straight from the pack.
