Amazonas Micro Rope Hammock Fixings

Micro Ropes are the suspension for anyone carrying their hammock rather than hanging it in a garden. The pair weighs 160 g together, which is less than a chocolate bar, and packs down to roughly the size of a phone.

Each rope adjusts out to 2.5 m, so you are not hunting for two trees at exactly the right spacing. The cord is weatherproof PET and the hardware is anodised aluminium, so there is nothing to rust in a wet pack or rot over a long trip. Each rope carries 150 kg, 300 kg across the pair.

These are the ropes supplied in the Amazonas Silk Traveller Hammock Set and the Traveller Set, so if you already own one of those you have a pair. For garden use where weight does not matter, the Liana chain or the Smart Rope are the sturdier everyday choices, and for hanging between trees the T-Straps are kinder to the bark.
