Skywoods Fix P3 Zoomable Pen Light - 270 Lumen

The Fix P3 is the entry point of Skywoods' three-strong penlight range, sitting alongside the short-bodied Fix P4 and the longer Fix P5. It is a pen-sized aluminium alloy light that runs on two AAA batteries rather than a proprietary rechargeable cell, so a flat light is fixed with a spare pair from the drawer rather than a charging cable and an hour of waiting.

A single Cree XPE-R4 emitter puts out 270 lumens behind a reflector, throwing 85 metres at 1900cd. Twisting the head moves the beam between a wide flood for close work and a tight spot for reach, and the tail cap switch works one handed, cycling high and low with a half press for momentary light. At 151mm long, 16.6mm across and 44g without batteries it clips into a shirt pocket and is easy to forget you are carrying. The alloy body is IPX6 rated and tested to a 1.5 metre drop.
