Amazonas T-Straps Tree Hanging Set (Pair)

T-Straps are the tree-friendly way to hang a hammock. The webbing is 25 mm wide, which sounds like a detail and is actually the whole point: a wide strap spreads the load across the bark instead of concentrating it into a line. Thin cord wrapped round a trunk cuts in, damages the cambium and can eventually ring a young tree. This does not.

The fitting is neat. An aluminium locking pin goes through the hammock end loop, you push it through the webbing, and it turns diagonally and latches itself. No knots, no carabiners to fumble with cold hands.

Each strap adjusts from 15 to 220 cm, covering everything from a slim trunk to something substantial, and carries 200 kg. They come as a pair at 0.4 kg together, so they belong in the pack alongside a travel hammock. For hanging where trees are not involved, the Micro Ropes are lighter and the Smart Rope reaches further.
