Ledlenser TAC6R Tactical Rechargeable Torch 2000 Lumens

The Ledlenser TAC6R is a compact rechargeable tactical torch: 2000 lumens on TAC Boost, a 370 metre beam and a body just 139mm long, shorter than most phones. It is built for security and police work, search and rescue, stalking and pest control, and for anyone who wants a serious torch that still fits a jacket pocket. The housing is hard-anodised aluminium with diamond knurling, rated IP68 and drop tested to 2 metres.

What sets it apart is Ledlenser’s Multi-Lens Technology. Three LEDs sit behind separate lenses, so the TAC6R can throw a spot and a flood at the same time, lighting the target and the ground around it, or run either one alone. Check is flood only for close work. TAC Mid and TAC High combine flood and spot. Search pushes maximum spot with a low flood to reach 270 metres on 500 lumens, and Strobe is there when you need it.

Everything is driven from the tactical end cap switch, which can be worked one-handed, with a transport lock to stop the torch coming on in a bag or pocket. A single 18650 rechargeable battery gives up to 15 hours on Check and charges over USB-C in 180 minutes, with a status light on the head showing battery level. Backup Mode steps the output down before the battery is empty, so the light fades rather than cutting out.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the TAC6R with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register the torch online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the 10-digit serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, pouches, charging cables, surface coatings or embossing.
