Ledlenser TAC7R RGB Tactical Rechargeable Torch 3200 Lumens

The Ledlenser TAC7R RGB is the most powerful torch in Ledlenser’s TAC series: 3200 lumens on TAC Boost, a 370 metre beam, and red, green and blue light built into the torch itself. It is made for police, security and emergency service work, for stalking and pest control, and for anyone who needs long reach and colour light from one 156mm torch.

Control is split between two places so nothing has to be cycled through. The Mode Select Ring at the tail end has four positions: Lock, Mission for the white tactical beam modes, RGB for red, green and blue, and Flash for the flashing colour modes. The tactical end cap switch then works the light within whichever group you have chosen. Multi-Lens Technology gives the white beam its shape, with three LEDs throwing a combined flood and spot, or either one alone. Search mode reaches 235 metres on 550 lumens.

A 21700 rechargeable battery with 4600mAh gives 6 hours on TAC Mid and up to 30 hours on Check. It charges over USB-C through a covered port on the body, and four indicator lights on the head show battery level. The housing is hard-anodised aluminium, rated IP68 and drop tested to 2 metres, and weighs 220g.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the TAC7R with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register the torch online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the 10-digit serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, pouches, charging cables, surface coatings or embossing.
