Ledlenser FLEX5 Power Bank with 21700 Battery 4500mAh

The Ledlenser FLEX5 is a pocket power bank and a 21700 battery charger in one, supplied with a Ledlenser 4500mAh 21700 lithium-ion cell. Use it to top up a phone or other USB device, or to charge a spare 21700 battery for your Ledlenser torch or head torch so you can swap in a full cell instead of waiting for the light to recharge. When the battery is not in use, the FLEX5 is also a protective case to carry it in.

Ledlenser describe it as six functions in one housing: power bank, battery charger with a charge level indicator, secure battery storage, a capacity check display, double short-circuit protection, and fast battery replacement. A USB-A port gives power out, and a USB-C port works both ways, charging the FLEX5 and powering a device. Ledlenser quote up to 30% shorter charging time than charging the same battery inside a P7R Core torch, at 140 minutes for a full charge.

The 103mm housing is made from PC and ABS plastic, which Ledlenser describe as flame retardant, and it is rated IP65 against dust and water jets, so it can ride in a pack, glovebox or jacket pocket outdoors. It weighs 126g with the battery fitted.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the FLEX5 with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register it online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the serial number printed on the product, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, cables, surface coatings or embossing.
