Ledlenser H14R.2 Rechargeable Head Torch 1000 Lumens

The Ledlenser H14R.2 is a 1000 lumen rechargeable head torch with a rear battery box that does more than hold the battery. It carries a wheel for stepless dimming and a red rear light that can flash or stay on, so you control brightness from the back of your head and stay visible to traffic and colleagues behind you. Ledlenser’s own artwork also shows Dual Power: as well as its rechargeable battery pack, it can run on four standard AA alkaline batteries (sold separately), useful on long trips away from power.

The Advanced Focus System with Rapid Focus lets you twist the lamp head with one hand to move from a wide flood to a spot reaching 300 metres, and a front switch works the light. Boost gives 1000 lumens, Power runs at 450 lumens for 12 hours, and Low Power at 60 lumens lasts up to 35 hours. A transport lock stops it switching on in a bag.

The rechargeable pack uses two 18650 cells and charges over a Micro-USB cable in 480 minutes. An extension cable is supplied so the battery box can be carried in a pocket instead of on the headband. The H14R.2 weighs 340g, is drop tested to 2 metres and is rated IP04.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the H14R.2 with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register the head torch online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the 10-digit serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, charging cables, surface coatings or embossing.
