Ledlenser H8R Rechargeable Head Torch 600 Lumens

The Ledlenser H8R is a 600 lumen rechargeable head torch with a red rear light on its battery box, so you can be seen from behind as well as see ahead. That makes it a good choice for walking, running or cycling on roads at night, for yard and stable work, and on building sites where others need to spot you. It weighs 158g and comes with red and green lens filters as standard.

Ledlenser’s Advanced Focus System with Rapid Focus lets you twist the bezel with one hand to move from a wide flood for close work to a spot that reaches 150 metres, and the lamp head angles down by up to 65 degrees. A front switch works the light, and a transport lock on the battery box stops it switching on in a bag. There is no short boost mode: the full 600 lumens is the Power setting, rated by Ledlenser at 10 hours.

The 18650 rechargeable battery sits in the rear box to balance the weight and charges over a Micro-USB cable from any USB-A port, reaching 80% in 180 minutes and full in 360. Low Power runs for up to 120 hours. Temperature Control protects the LED from overheating, and the torch is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water and drop tested to 2 metres.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the H8R with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register the head torch online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, colour filters, charging cables, surface coatings or embossing.
