Ledlenser AL10R Work Rechargeable Lantern 6300 Lumens

The Ledlenser AL10R Work is a 6300 lumen rechargeable work lantern that lights all the way round rather than in one direction. Its tube carries three LED panels that switch on and off individually, so you can light a full 360 degrees in the middle of a room or site, 240 degrees, or a single 120 degree panel when it stands against a wall and there is no point lighting the wall behind it. That makes it the AF Work family’s choice for open floors, scaffolding, tents and any job where people work all around the light.

Like the AF4R, AF8R and AF12R Work, it has Hybrid Power: run it on the built-in rechargeable battery where there is no socket, or from the mains through the supplied power adapter, which also charges it while it runs. Colour temperature adjusts in five steps from a warm 3000K to a cool 6500K, a clip-on diffuser softens the light, and a memory function brings it back on at the last setting used. Ledlenser rate the housing as resistant to oil, diesel and solvents, and Cooling Technology and Temperature Control keep the LEDs from overheating.

With all three panels on, five brightness levels run from 6300 lumens for 1 hour down to 750 lumens for 9 hours 30 minutes on battery. The lantern stands on its base, hangs from its silicone hook, or screws onto a tripod to throw light over a larger area. It is rated IP67 against dust and water, drop tested to 1.5 metres and weighs 1397g. It comes in a carry case with the diffuser and power adapter.

Warranty

Ledlenser cover the AL10R Work with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Register the lantern online with Ledlenser within 12 weeks of purchase and the warranty is extended to 7 years. You will need the warranty card from the box and the 10-digit serial number printed on the light, and you should keep your proof of purchase, as Ledlenser may ask for it when a claim is made.

Warranty Exclusions

The built-in rechargeable battery is covered for 2 years for proper function, and the gradual loss of capacity that comes with age and use is not a fault. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, cases, cables, surface coatings or embossing.
